DREVO (Максим Дерев'янчук): concerts, schedule and tickets

From the TicketsBox editorial team

DREVO concert tickets are in the catalogue below. Official prices, no markups. Full Ukraine concert schedule and archive of past shows.

Biography

Maksym Derevianchuk was born on 11 December 2001 in Varash, Rivne region. A small city in western Ukraine, best known for the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. From the family home here, where he built himself a small recording setup, this story begins.

As a child he was interested in both sport and music. The choice towards music happened gradually. At 17 he started learning guitar on his own — no formal music education. After school he enrolled at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to study Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies. "The main thing is not to end up at the nuclear plant, " he said about his choice of faculty.

First songs and covers recorded at home in Varash. Studio — a room in the family house. Early problem: no money for a microphone and audio interface. Solution: he took his guitar and went carol singing to raise the cash. It worked. That is how the DREVO career started, step by step.

Height: 194 centimetres. Standing next to Oleksandr Usyk he looks like a tower — a separate running joke among fans.

Early tracks: Lastivka, Samolitom and TikTok

In the home studio in Varash Maksym recorded his first tracks — Lastivka (Swallow) and Samolitom (By Plane). Lastivka is about family relationships — not just between spouses, but between parents and children. Quiet and lyrical.

Samolitom is a different story. The idea came while building that same studio: Maksym and his friends were carrying sand in the heat and dreaming of a summer trip abroad. The song grew from that feeling. The video was shot for 5-10 thousand hryvnias — in a field, minimal crew. One million views on YouTube. Viral TikTok. For a young artist with no label, no producer, a bedroom studio and a video costing 120-240 dollars — a remarkable result.

Pianoboy and Eurovision: two attempts

2023 — first national selection for Eurovision. Song: Life in Reverse. Didn't make the shortlist. But during the selection process he was noticed by Dmytro Shurov — singer and music producer of the competition, known as Pianoboy.

After not advancing, Maksym emailed Shurov to thank him for including him in the longlist. Shurov replied by inviting him to perform at his own concert — and even played drums during Maksym's set. "It was very important and special for me at that point, " DREVO later said. Collaboration followed. Several joint performances: an English-language version of Shkerebert and Ivasyuk's Balada pro Malvy.

2024 — second national selection with Endless chain. Rock with 8-bit elements. Reached the final. Ninth place. A completely different level of visibility.

That same 2024, Maksym received a message from Oleksandr Usyk. The boxing world champion asked him to write a melody for his own lyrics. On 25 January 2024 Terpy, Kozak (Hold On, Cossack) was released — a rock song about the steadfast Ukrainian warrior. Written ahead of Usyk's fight with Tyson Fury, it became a motivational anthem for thousands.

Smarahdove Nebo and the 2025 breakthrough

23 May 2025 — premiere of Smarahdove Nebo (Emerald Sky). DREVO describes it as "a state of soul and a manifestation of love that turns into sound." Without sincerity, only technique. Emotion and craft together create something alive.

30 May 2025: the track simultaneously hit number one on YouTube Charts, Apple Music and Spotify in Ukraine. Entered the top 10 of the global Shazam ranking in the rock category. 40 million YouTube views. Played everywhere through the summer — from cafés, from speakers in the street, from TikTok. Named one of the twenty most popular songs of 2025 by Hlavkom.

The Smarahdove Nebo video was made with no budget. That detail says more about DREVO than any review. Tens of millions of views with zero production spend — not a marketing story, a quality story.

Concerts

The first full Ukraine tour happened in 2025 — more than 20 concerts over several months. Part of his crew was mobilised earlier, which pushed back the original plan. But the tour ran and drew thousands of people across the country.

2026 tour: Kyiv (Atlas, 23 January), Lviv (7 March), Vinnytsia (19 April), Ivano-Frankivsk (8 June). Current dates in the catalogue above.

DREVO concerts are live music, guitar and direct contact with the room. No unnecessary staging. The format where the voice and the song do the work.

Style and approach

DREVO describes his own style as a mix of rock, pop-rock and folk elements. Not a bard — though some compare his voice timbre to Oleh Skrypka. "I have my own niche, " he says. He doesn't feel competitive with other artists: "I just work."

He writes the words and music to all his songs himself — without exception. Each song is a personal statement, not commissioned material.

Videos are made on minimal budgets. Samolitom cost the equivalent of $120-240. Smarahdove Nebo cost nothing. Content beats form.

Usyk and personal life

The message from Oleksandr Usyk, by DREVO's own account, "hit like lightning." The world boxing champion reaching out to a young artist from Varash to ask for a song — a detail that says something about both of them.

In his life there is Yana — a close person, his "muse and manager, " who appears in videos. Zavitavshy v Khram is about her.

His dream: to perform in his home city of Varash at an open-air festival by the Bile Ozero (White Lake) — after the war ends. A specific image of a specific future.
